Community Guidelines
VibeConnect — a product of Sigma Pi Labs Inc.
Our Promise and Yours
VibeConnect exists to help adults form meaningful human connections — friendships, mentorships, companions, and, where chosen, romantic relationships. To make that possible, we maintain a community where every member is safe, respected, and free to be themselves. These Community Guidelines (the "Guidelines") set the rules for participation in the Service. They apply to everyone and to every piece of content on the Service — profiles, photographs, messages, journal entries shared with others, reports, support tickets, in-app communications, and all interactions with another User, whether on-platform or, in certain cases described in Section 25, off-platform.
These Guidelines are part of, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms and Conditions. Words defined in the Terms have the same meaning here. Where these Guidelines conflict with the Terms, the Terms control unless the Guidelines expressly say otherwise.
You are responsible for your conduct. Your account is yours. If it is used to violate these Guidelines, you are answerable for that conduct, whether or not you were the person at the keyboard. Violations may result in content removal, warning, feature restriction, temporary suspension, permanent ban, loss of any paid Subscription, referral to law enforcement, and civil action.

1. Who may use VibeConnect
1.1 Eighteen or older — no exceptions
VibeConnect is an adults-only service. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence if higher, to register or use the Service. When you create your account, you attest to your age by entering your date of birth.
1.2 No attempts to bypass the age gate
You may not falsify your date of birth, attempt to circumvent age screening, transfer your account to or operate it for a minor, or use another person's identity or date of birth. If we obtain knowledge, or reasonable basis to believe, that a User is under 18, we will immediately and permanently remove that account and the associated data, and we will preserve limited records as required by law, including for reporting child safety concerns to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or equivalent authorities in other jurisdictions.
1.3 Capacity and sanctions
You must be able to enter into a binding contract under the law of your residence, must not be on a sanctions or prohibited-persons list, and must not be located in a comprehensively embargoed jurisdiction. See Sections 3 and 22 of the Terms and Conditions.
1.4 Previously banned Users
If your account has been terminated for a violation of these Guidelines, you may not create a new account. Creating a second account after termination is itself a violation.
2. Authentic identity
VibeConnect runs on trust. That trust collapses the moment identities become fake, borrowed, or commercialized.
2.1 Be yourself
- Use a real name or a consistent handle you are known by. Do not use the name, photograph, likeness, or biographical information of another person, living or dead, whether public figure, private individual, or fictional character, without that person's clear authorization.
- Your primary profile photograph(s) must show your actual face, recognizably, without heavy filters, masks, or heavy AI alteration. Secondary photographs may include group, hobby, or landscape shots.
- The gender you select, the connection types you choose, and the personality description you write must reflect your genuine self-understanding. Experimentation and exploration are welcome; deception is not.
2.2 One account per person
- You may maintain one (1) active account at a time.
- You may not operate two accounts to segment audiences, evade a ban, "split-test" personalities, multiply reports or matches, or manipulate platform mechanics.
2.3 No bots, automation, or scripted agents
- You may not operate an automated account, a bot, or a semi-automated tool that impersonates a person; you may not use scripts, emulators, or click-farms to generate matches, messages, profile views, reports, or any other platform activity.
- You may not train or run an external AI agent that generates your conversation on your behalf without disclosure to the other User. You may use AI features we provide (for example, suggestion tools) because those are disclosed and governed.
2.4 No paid-promotion accounts
- You may not use VibeConnect to promote a brand, influencer account, e-commerce business, coaching practice, streaming channel, subscription website, OnlyFans-style adult service, talent agency, or any other commercial activity, whether yours or another's. VibeConnect is for human-to-human connection, not customer acquisition.
2.5 No borrowed or purchased accounts
- You may not buy, sell, rent, loan, transfer, or share account access. Your account is tied to you.
Violations of Section 2 range from warning (minor profile inaccuracy) to permanent ban (impersonation, bot operation, ban evasion).
3. Safety — violence, threats, and incitement
We do not permit content that threatens violence against a person or group, glorifies violence, or seeks to organize or plan violence. This includes:
- Credible threats of physical harm, death, sexual assault, kidnapping, torture, or confinement against any identifiable person or group.
- Statements of intent or preparation to commit violence.
- Specific and credible calls for others to commit violence.
- Imagery, videos, or "art" that functions as a threat or celebrates a violent act.
- Glorification of mass-casualty violence, school shootings, genocide, or terror attacks.
- Any form of "swatting," hoax bomb threats, or false emergency reports.
We distinguish between the above and statements of grievance, protest, frustration, reporting of news events, or artistic and educational commentary; those remain permissible so long as they do not cross into threatening, targeting, or incitement.
4. Safety — terrorism, extremism, and dangerous organizations
You may not use VibeConnect to:
- Praise, support, represent, fundraise for, recruit for, or coordinate with a designated terrorist organization, a violent extremist organization, an organized hate group, an organized criminal group, or an organization engaged in mass or serial violence against civilians.
- Distribute the manifestos of mass-casualty attackers, attempt to recruit others into violent movements, share instructions for making weapons designed for mass casualties, or promote self-radicalization.
Discussion, journalism, counter-speech, and scholarly or educational reference to these organizations and events are permitted and welcome.
5. Safety — minors (absolute prohibition)
This is the single hardest line on the Service.
5.1 No content involving minors
You may not post, share, upload, generate, solicit, transmit, or request any image, video, audio, text, drawing, animation, or synthetic content that sexualizes a minor (under 18) or depicts a minor (under 18) in a sexual, suggestive, or exploitative context. This prohibition is absolute and covers:
- Photographic and video child sexual-abuse material (CSAM).
- "Virtual," drawn, animated, AI-generated, or "loli/shota"-style imagery that sexualizes a minor. It does not matter whether the depicted character is fictional; it does not matter whether the character is labeled as "18."
- Text-based erotica, roleplay, stories, or scripts sexualizing a minor.
- Requests for, or transmission of, any of the above.
5.2 No grooming
You may not engage with, solicit personal information from, build trust with, arrange to meet, or send sexualized content to any person known or suspected to be under 18. You may not use the Service to locate, contact, or groom a minor.
5.3 Mandatory reporting
We will preserve and report CSAM and suspected grooming to NCMEC (or equivalent national authorities) and to law enforcement, consistent with U.S. federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A) and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions. If you become aware of CSAM or grooming on the Service, report it immediately via the in-app reporting tool and email privacy@vibeconnect.io with the subject line "URGENT — CHILD SAFETY."
Violations of this Section result in immediate and permanent ban, preservation of evidence, and referral to law enforcement.
6. Safety — human exploitation and trafficking
You may not use the Service to:
- Traffic in persons (sexual or labor), including recruiting, enticing, transporting, harboring, or obtaining a person for exploitation;
- Facilitate, promote, or profit from commercial sexual exploitation of any person, regardless of their age (and absolutely prohibited if the person is under 18);
- Coordinate or promote debt bondage, forced marriage, servile marriage, or other practices similar to slavery.
Survivors of trafficking who use the Service to seek connection, support, or community are welcome, and reporting or discussing trafficking to raise awareness is permitted.
7. Safety — suicide, self-harm, and eating disorders
We do not permit content that encourages, glorifies, celebrates, or provides detailed instructions for suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders. This includes "pro-ana"/"pro-mia" content, "how-to" lethal-means content, and coordinated challenges that encourage self-harm.
We recognize that many Users have personal experience with these conditions and may discuss them openly, share recovery stories, or seek peer support. That is welcome. The line is between (a) honest discussion and support, which is allowed, and (b) promotion, instruction, or glorification, which is not.
If you are in crisis, please reach out — in the United States, dial or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline); in the UK, call 116 123 (Samaritans); find an equivalent service in your country. Our AI and messaging features are not a substitute for professional crisis support.
8. Dignity — hate speech
You may not attack, dehumanize, threaten, or call for exclusion of a person or group on the basis of a protected characteristic:
- Race, color, ethnicity, national origin, or ancestry;
- Caste, tribe, or indigenous status;
- Religion or belief;
- Sex, gender, or gender identity;
- Sexual orientation;
- Disability or medical condition;
- Age;
- Pregnancy or pregnancy-related status;
- Veteran status;
- Migration or refugee status.
Prohibited conduct includes slurs, de-humanizing comparisons (e.g., to vermin, insects, disease), denials or mockery of genocides or historical atrocities, calls for segregation or expulsion, promotion of hate-group ideology, and "sorting" people into human-value tiers by a protected characteristic.
Serious, critical, or satirical discussion of culture, politics, religion, and identity is welcome. Counter-speech, reclamation of slurs by in-group members, quoting of hateful content to condemn it, and discussion of lived experience are permitted.
9. Dignity — bullying, harassment, and stalking
You may not:
- Send unwanted sexual content, sexual comments, or sexual advances after the recipient has declined or indicated disinterest;
- Send repeated unwanted messages to a User who has not responded or has blocked you (through new accounts or otherwise);
- Engage in coordinated or pile-on harassment;
- Make mocking, degrading, or humiliating remarks about a person's appearance, body, disability, voice, accent, or identity;
- Use the Service to track, surveil, or stalk any person;
- Create content designed to tag, mock, or "expose" a specific User;
- Extort, threaten to disclose, or actually disclose another User's information to coerce them.
Blocking a User is their right; bypassing a block by creating a new account, using another User's account, or contacting the person off-platform as a result of a VibeConnect interaction is prohibited.
10. Dignity — violent and graphic content
You may not post gratuitous violence, gore, animal cruelty, or content whose primary purpose is to shock or disgust. Limited discussion, reporting, or images tied to news, awareness, or safety are permitted with appropriate context; we may restrict visibility, apply warning labels, or remove where appropriate.
11. Privacy — personal information and doxxing
You may not collect, post, or threaten to post another person's private information, including:
- Legal name (where kept private), home address, work address, place of study;
- Telephone number, personal email, or other direct-contact information, except when shared with explicit permission;
- Government-issued identifiers (driver's license, passport, national ID, tax ID);
- Financial account information;
- Health information, immigration status, HIV status, or other sensitive status;
- Screenshots of private conversations, unless shared with the participants' consent or to report an abuse violation to us.
You may not use VibeConnect to aggregate, cross-reference, or profile another person for harassment, exposure, or surveillance purposes.
12. Privacy — intimate images, NCII, and sexual deepfakes
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII, sometimes called "revenge porn") — any nude, semi-nude, or sexual image or video of an identifiable person shared without that person's consent, whether the image was originally created with consent or not;
- Sexual deepfakes or synthetic sexual imagery depicting an identifiable real person without their consent, regardless of whether the image is photorealistic or stylized;
- "Upskirt," "downblouse," hidden-camera, or similar surreptitiously captured sexual imagery;
- Threats to distribute intimate imagery ("sextortion"), including demands for money, sexual content, or acts in exchange for not distributing imagery;
- Solicitation of intimate imagery from a person who has not clearly consented, in particular from anyone who may be a minor.
Violations result in immediate removal, permanent ban, evidence preservation, and referral to law enforcement. We will also participate in industry partnerships (such as StopNCII.org) to help prevent re-uploading.
If you are a survivor of NCII, sextortion, or a sexual deepfake, you may contact privacy@vibeconnect.io (subject line: "NCII / Deepfake Removal Request"). We will treat the request with priority and will assist with available takedown resources.
13. Sexual content and nudity
VibeConnect is not an adult-content platform. The following apply:
- Explicit sexual content, full-frontal nudity, exposed genitalia, exposed female nipples (unless in breastfeeding, health-related, post-mastectomy, or protest contexts), and explicit sex acts are not permitted in profiles, photographs, or public-facing content.
- In private messages between two consenting adults, sexually explicit text content may be exchanged, but: (a) it must be between adults and both must be genuinely consenting; (b) it must not depict or request content involving minors; (c) it must not include non-consensual, incestuous, or bestial themes as directed at the other User; and (d) it must not be continued once the other User declines.
- You may not send sexual content of any kind to a User who has not clearly invited it. "Unsolicited sexual message" is harassment regardless of how politely framed.
- Artistic, historical, educational, and health-related nudity may be permissible with context; we may nevertheless restrict or remove content inconsistent with the Service's tone or App Store / Google Play policies.
We reserve the right to remove sexual content that, while not illegal, is inconsistent with the Service's positioning or required policies of the mobile-application stores that distribute the Service.
14. Consent in communication
Every interaction on VibeConnect must be consensual.
- Yes means yes; silence is not consent. If someone does not respond, if they say "not right now," if they ask to slow down, or if they unmatch, respect it.
- Consent can be withdrawn at any time. A past "yes" is not a permanent yes.
- Do not use guilt, pressure, persistence, threat, or deception to obtain consent to conversation, exchange of images, real-world meeting, or any other act.
- Do not claim that a match "owes" you anything by virtue of matching, messaging, or any gift, payment, or favor.
- Do not record or photograph a video, voice, or in-person interaction with another User without their prior, clear, and specific consent, except where such recording is lawful for safety purposes (and even then, be thoughtful about what you keep and share).
15. Solicitation — commercial sex, sugar arrangements, and escorting
VibeConnect is not a marketplace. You may not:
- Advertise, solicit, arrange, or pay for sexual services, "sugar daddy / sugar baby" arrangements, escort services, "pay-to-meet" arrangements, "allowance" arrangements in exchange for companionship, webcam or "cam girl" services, or any transactional sexual or companionship arrangement;
- Promote adult-content subscription platforms, adult film appearances, adult webcam services, fan clubs, or "premium Snapchat"-type accounts;
- Post your rates, a menu of services, a "tribute" address, or a payment-platform handle together with sexual or companionship solicitation.
This prohibition applies regardless of the legality of sex work in the User's local jurisdiction; it is a platform policy, not a statement on any broader debate. If you operate such a business elsewhere, VibeConnect is not the place to market it.
16. Regulated and prohibited goods
You may not use the Service to promote, offer, exchange, sell, solicit, or coordinate the sale or transfer of:
- Illegal drugs, prescription drugs without a valid prescription, new psychoactive substances, or the equipment used to manufacture or consume them in unsafe ways;
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, magazines above locally lawful capacity, silencers, ghost-gun kits, or 3D-printable firearm files;
- Alcohol or tobacco where your local law prohibits such sale via this channel;
- Cannabis products across jurisdictional lines or in any manner that violates U.S. federal law;
- Endangered or protected animal products (CITES-covered);
- Human organs, tissue, or reproductive cells;
- Counterfeit currency, documents, or goods;
- Stolen property;
- Dangerous chemicals, biological agents, or radiological materials;
- Hacking tools, stolen credentials, "combo lists," SIM-swap services, or services designed to facilitate unauthorized access, surveillance, or fraud.
17. Fraud, scams, and financial exploitation
You may not use the Service to perpetrate or attempt to perpetrate any fraudulent scheme, including:
- Romance scams — building an emotional connection to solicit money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfers, travel funds, "emergency" help, "unlock fees," "customs fees," or any other transfer of value;
- Catfish scams — creating fictitious personas to defraud, manipulate, or sexually coerce;
- Phishing — tricking a User into disclosing credentials, two-factor codes, recovery phrases, or payment information;
- Investment fraud — including "pig butchering," fake crypto-exchange referrals, "guaranteed returns" schemes, signal-group solicitations, and fake trading platforms;
- Employment scams — fake job offers, fake modeling or acting auditions, fee-demanding "roles," or "personal assistant" scams;
- Rental, travel, or ticket fraud;
- Identity theft in any form;
- Tech-support scams, fake "account recovery" offers, or fake moderator messages;
- Pyramid and multi-level-marketing solicitations targeting Users.
If another User tries to obtain money, gifts, cryptocurrency, or personal information from you, do not send anything, report the User, and block them. VibeConnect staff will never ask you for money, recovery codes, crypto, or account credentials.
18. Impersonation and catfishing
You may not:
- Pretend to be someone you are not, or use another person's name, likeness, voice, or biographical detail to deceive;
- Pretend to represent VibeConnect, a law-enforcement agency, a celebrity, or another User;
- Use photographs generated by AI to pass as your own real appearance;
- Use photographs of a model, influencer, or other person as your primary profile photograph.
Parody or clearly labeled roleplay is permitted only where it does not deceive another User and does not violate other Guidelines.
19. Spam, unsolicited contact, and platform manipulation
You may not:
- Send duplicated, bulk, copy-paste, or formulaic messages;
- Send the same link, phone number, social-media handle, or third-party contact to many Users;
- Use VibeConnect to recruit people to off-platform services, groups, or agencies for commercial gain;
- Artificially inflate matches, conversations, reports, reviews, or any signal;
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise systematically collect profile data or User Content;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the matching or messaging system;
- Use hidden text, invisible characters, zero-width spaces, coded hashtags, or any obfuscation intended to evade automated moderation.
20. Artificial intelligence and synthetic media
We use AI on the Service; so, increasingly, do Users. A few rules:
- Disclosure: if you are using AI to generate substantial portions of your messages to another User (for example, an AI "wingman" or automated conversational agent), disclose it when a reasonable person would want to know.
- No AI-generated profile photographs that misrepresent your appearance. A stylized portrait is fine if the underlying likeness is yours; a fully synthetic face that misleads about how you look is not.
- No AI-generated sexual content of real identifiable people (see Section 12).
- No AI-generated content of minors, ever (see Section 5).
- No AI-generated text that impersonates another specific real person (a celebrity, a match you have seen elsewhere) in a way likely to deceive.
- Features we provide that are powered by AI are labeled as such in the app. Their outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate; use judgment.
21. Intellectual property and third-party rights
Only post content that you own, have licensed, or are otherwise lawfully authorized to use. Do not post content that:
- Infringes another person's copyright, trademark, patent, trade-secret, publicity, or moral rights;
- Depicts an identifiable individual without the rights or permissions required by local law;
- Contains or reveals trade secrets or confidential business information that you are not authorized to share.
Rights-holders may submit infringement notices under the DMCA or equivalent regimes — see Section 21 of the Terms and Conditions.
22. Activities and real-world meetings
VibeConnect may facilitate in-person meetings and group activities. You should always:
- Meet for the first time in a well-populated public place;
- Tell a friend or family member where you are going, whom you are meeting, and when you expect to return;
- Arrange your own transportation to and from the meeting;
- Not consume food or drink prepared by a new acquaintance out of your sight;
- Not share your home address, financial details, identity documents, or recovery codes;
- Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, leave and contact local emergency services.
You may not pressure another User to meet, to share alcohol or substances, to stay beyond what they are comfortable with, or to engage in any act without enthusiastic consent. You may not consume the Service while operating a motor vehicle or other machinery in a manner that endangers others. All interactions in the physical world, including any meeting you choose to attend, are at your own risk. See Section 11.3 of the Terms and Conditions.
23. Location and geotagging
You may not post another User's precise location or disclose your own precise home or work location in profile content. Use general city or region references where possible. Do not geotag other Users, their residences, workplaces, or private venues.
24. Reporting, blocking, and safety tools
24.1 Report
If you see content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, report it using the in-app reporting tool. Reasons currently supported include: harassment or bullying; inappropriate sexual content; spam or scam; underage user; offensive or hateful language; threatening behavior; impersonation; and "other." When you report, we receive the reported User's identifier, the reason you selected, any context you provide, and relevant system metadata.
24.2 Block
You may block another User at any time. Blocking prevents further matching and messaging. Prior messages remain as part of the record we need for moderation, audit, and compliance. Attempting to contact a User through a new account, through another User's account, or off-platform in consequence of a VibeConnect interaction is prohibited.
24.3 How we handle reports
We review reports in the order and priority most appropriate given the nature of the report. Child-safety, imminent-harm, and NCII reports receive the highest priority. We do not guarantee any particular response time, but we aim to acknowledge serious reports promptly. We may remove content, warn, restrict features, suspend, or terminate an account based on a single report or on a pattern of reports, using all information reasonably available to us.
24.4 False reports and weaponization of reporting
Do not file reports to harass, to remove competitors, to coerce, or to settle disputes. Coordinated false reporting, mass reporting for fraudulent purposes, and "Reviewbombing" are themselves violations.
24.5 Safety tips and resources
Safety resources are available in the app. If you are in imminent danger, contact your local emergency services.
25. Off-platform conduct
We generally enforce these Guidelines on content and conduct that occurs on the Service. However, off-platform conduct is relevant and may result in action against a VibeConnect account where:
- The off-platform conduct targets, endangers, or defrauds another VibeConnect User as a consequence of a connection made on the Service (for example, harassment or stalking off-platform, NCII shared off-platform after a VibeConnect match, romance fraud executed off-platform, or in-person sexual assault);
- The off-platform conduct involves child-safety violations;
- The off-platform conduct consists of membership in, or leadership of, a designated dangerous organization or violent extremist movement;
- The off-platform conduct establishes, by credible evidence, that the User poses a risk to the community.
We do not routinely monitor off-platform activity, but when credible evidence of off-platform harm is brought to us, we will act on it.
26. Cooperation with law enforcement
We cooperate with law-enforcement authorities through the responses and disclosures described in the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, including responding to valid legal process; reporting child sexual abuse material to NCMEC and equivalent authorities; and, in exigent circumstances involving imminent risk of death or serious physical harm, sharing information necessary to prevent harm as permitted by Applicable Law. We do not assist in the suppression of lawful speech or political dissent; requests we receive are evaluated against our own policies and against Applicable Law.
27. Enforcement — from warning to permanent ban
27.1 Proportional, context-sensitive enforcement
Where possible, we match the response to the severity, intent, harm, and history of the conduct. Our enforcement tools include (in roughly increasing severity):
- Content removal — we remove the offending content, and you may be notified.
- Label or restriction — content may be hidden, down-ranked, or shown behind a warning.
- Warning / coaching — we notify you that your conduct is prohibited and that further violations will result in action.
- Feature restriction — we temporarily remove access to specific features (for example, messaging, AI features, or Places Discovery).
- Temporary suspension — your account is disabled for a defined period.
- Permanent ban — your account and your eligibility to operate a VibeConnect account are terminated permanently.
- Loss of Subscription — paid Subscription entitlements may be revoked; refunds are governed by the Terms and the applicable app store.
- Referral to law enforcement — as described above.
- Civil action — we may pursue legal remedies where warranted.
27.2 Zero-tolerance categories
Certain categories trigger immediate and permanent ban, regardless of history: child sexual abuse material; grooming; non-consensual intimate imagery; sextortion; credible threats of violence; ban evasion after a ban for a zero-tolerance category; operation for trafficking.
27.3 Account security and preservation
On suspension or termination, we preserve evidence necessary for law-enforcement referrals, safety audits, and civil proceedings. We deactivate features and may retain anonymized or pseudonymized records even after account deletion, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
27.4 Repeat offenders
We track enforcement history across accounts (to the extent feasible and lawful) and apply stricter remedies to repeat offenders. Accumulating violations across otherwise-minor categories may produce the same outcome as a single severe violation.
28. Appeals
28.1 How to appeal
If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you may appeal by emailing privacy@vibeconnect.io with the subject line "Moderation Appeal — [your account email]." Describe the action taken and why you believe it was mistaken. We review appeals on a reasonable-best-efforts basis.
28.2 Scope
We consider appeals for: content removals, warnings, feature restrictions, suspensions, and terminations. We generally do not overturn actions taken for zero-tolerance violations (Section 27.2) absent clear evidence of error.
28.3 Outcome
Outcomes include: (a) reinstatement of content or account; (b) reduction of remedy (for example, ban → suspension); (c) confirmation of the original action. Appeals are decided by a reviewer different from the reviewer who issued the original action where reasonably feasible. The outcome of an appeal does not create any right to damages.
29. Moderation philosophy and transparency
- We favor safety over speed. A rigorous review is worth more than a fast one.
- We favor proportionality over maximalism. The response should fit the harm, not inflame it.
- We are honest about fallibility. Human and automated reviewers make mistakes. The appeals process exists because we know that.
- We publish material updates to these Guidelines with an "Effective Date" notice.
- Where we can, we provide transparency about enforcement (e.g., in periodic transparency reports once our scale justifies one).
30. Regional supplements
The following regional notes supplement, and do not replace, the rest of these Guidelines.
30.1 European Union and European Economic Area (Digital Services Act — Regulation (EU) 2022/2065)
- Our single point of contact for Users and Member-State authorities, as required by Articles 11 and 12 DSA, is privacy@vibeconnect.io. English is a working language for communications.
- You may file notices and complaints under Articles 16 and 20 DSA via privacy@vibeconnect.io.
- Decisions to restrict visibility, remove content, suspend, or terminate are accompanied by a statement of reasons where required by Article 17 DSA.
- EU Users may also bring disputes to certified out-of-court dispute-settlement bodies under Article 21 DSA. Our participation in any particular body is voluntary and will be disclosed when applicable.
30.2 United Kingdom — Online Safety Act 2023
We implement measures reasonable and proportionate to our scale and risk profile, including age-attestation at account creation, transparent reporting, user-empowerment tools (block, report, mute controls), and child-safety reporting obligations. Ofcom may contact us at privacy@vibeconnect.io.
30.3 India — IT Rules 2021
- Grievance Officer: contactable at privacy@vibeconnect.io. Grievances are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days where reasonably feasible.
- Prohibited content under Rule 3(1)(b) of the IT Rules (including content that threatens India's sovereignty, integrity, defense, security, or friendly relations with foreign states) is addressed through our standard enforcement framework.
- We may remove content pursuant to a lawful order from a government agency under Rule 3(1)(d).
30.4 Australia — Online Safety Act 2021
We respond to take-down notices from the eSafety Commissioner regarding cyber-bullying material directed at Australian children, adult cyber-abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, and class-1 material (such as CSAM), within applicable statutory timeframes.
30.5 Brazil — Marco Civil da Internet; LGPD; ECA
We respond to judicial orders for content removal as required by Articles 19–21 Marco Civil, and we prioritize NCII take-downs under Article 21.
30.6 Germany — Network Enforcement / DSA transition
To the extent applicable, content reports under local law are reviewed within the timeframes required by law and enforced via our standard framework.
30.7 Canada
We report child sexual-abuse material to Cybertip.ca and cooperate with Canadian authorities as required.
30.8 California, Texas, and other U.S. states
Specific transparency, risk-assessment, and minor-protection laws (including California AB 2273, California SB 976, Texas SCOPE, and similar) are addressed through our adults-only operation (we do not knowingly operate a service for minors) and through the transparency mechanisms of these Guidelines.
31. Changes to these Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, in Applicable Law, or in the threat landscape. Material changes will be announced through in-app notice, push notification, or email to the account email address, with a reasonable notice period where practicable. The updated "Last Updated" date appears at the top of this document.
